Ama A Diva! Beyonce Demands Red Toilet Paper For Tour

We’ve heard of pop divas and the often outrageous demands they make while on tour or ahead of a performance. But just incase you didn’t know, please allow us bring you up to speed.

The queen of all divas Mariah Carey has been known to demand for chilled Cristal, two dozen white roses and dark coloured couches without  busy patterns for her dressing room. In 2009, she also requested for 20 white kittens and 100 white doves to be released while she she turned on Christmas lights at Westfield London Shopping Centre..this was declined(thank goodness) on health reasons so she settled instead for the pink carpet which was rolled out for her while the crowd was sprayed with pink and white butterfly-shaped confetti (yes, seriously).

Next is not-so-Jenny-from-the-block. Jennifer Lopez reportedly demanded an all-white dressing room in 2001 including white couches, candles and flowers (notice the pattern with the white flowers). But that’s nothing compared to what she asked for at the 2010 American Music Awards: a custom-fitted ferry complete with faux leather seats, a champagne fridge and a pair of diamond-encrusted headphones to usher her from Cannes to Monaco.

Enter Mrs Carter. Queen Bey who is currently in the middle of her “Mrs Carter Show” reportedly demanded $900 worth of titanium drinking straws “which will be used to drink a special alkaline water that’s served at exactly 21 degrees.” She further asked that her dressing room walls be painted off-white and that a new toilet seat be brought in at each venue. Said toilet is to have…wait for it..red toilet paper.

It doesn’t end there, she also asked that a hand-carved ice ball is presented to her at the end of every concert for her to suck on to protect her golden vocal chords (that is the money maker, y’see). Plus, all of the concert crew’s clothing has to be made of 100 percent cotton. Finally, momma Blue reportedly banned all junk food backstage, only allowing green vegetables, oatcakes and plates of almonds served in glass platters (how else do you think she keeps that hot bod firmly in place?!)
So there you have it. The next time you have grand delusions of being a diva, please take a moment to think of these ladies. For only when you can make fully grown adults spray pink and white confetti on their fellow adults can you allow yourself entertain such thoughts!
