‘I Was Once A Bus Conductor’ – Joseph Benjamin Shares His Story

A few years back, he might have asked you for money in the bus and you would have handed it to  him with disdain on your face, careful not to let your fingers touch. Today Kogi state native, Joseph Benjamin, former conductor, waiter and security guard turned actor and presenter shares his story with us.
Screen darling Joseph Benjamin had such a hard time on his journey to stardom. The actor and presenter spoke with Wana Udobang on Inspiration FM ’s show ‘Talk About It’ yesterday and chronicled his life story. The actor was not afraid to speak about it too. This story set off a storm on twitter of people who were inspired by his life story. In his words, “I’ve moved from being a bus conductor, security guard, waiter, worked in a Bakery, sold shoes at Balogun; then moved into IT before acting.”
Hard work does pay and Joseph  Benjamin is testament to that fact!

Dencia Lambasts Kim Kardashian…..and The African Continent

                                        

Kim Kardashian was recently in Ivory Coast and according to Dencia‘s tweet, she was flown in at $30,ooo and paid $200,000 for her trip down here. Kim Kardashian then proceeded to donate $2000 to an orphanage, much to Dencia’s annoyance. Dencia is of the opinion that the money used to fly Miss. Reality Queen, Kim Kardashian could have been put to better use. Here are a few of her tweets:

Flowssick Parts Ways With Kollertunz Records

                                   
Kollertunz Records has parted was with ‘Low Key‘ singer, Flowssick . Kolawole Olugboyega, CEO of the record label disclosed that the contract was terminated due to ‘unresolved issues’.
The press release reads thus: “The management of Kollertunz Records would like to officially inform the general public of the termination of its management and working relationship with Abiola David Aina also known as “Flowssick” over protracted contract issues.
“Our organization took this decision in the face of unresolved and complex negotiations which had been one sided with little consideration for the part of the label after years of investment and long working hours done for the establishment of our former artiste.
“We would like to state henceforth that we have no formal business relationship with Flowssick and that he can be reached by any means he chooses to. We trust that the management of Flowssick will observe their pledge they made to the label”
This is the first break up in 2013 and we have one question for both parties: What next???

Shakira And Gerard Now Proud Parents To Baby Boy

Barely a week after their virtual baby shower, Latino singer Shakira has put to bed. The singer gave birth to  a baby boy in Barcelona Spain. Little Milan Piqué Mebarak was born in the late hours of January 22, 2013 at exactly 9:36pm.

Singer Waje spotted on a movie set

             

Waje was spotted recently while on the set of a new movie. The award winning songbird has snagged a major role in an upcoming movie.

Directed by Stanley Ohikhuare, the movie also stars Femi Jacobs, Patrick Doyle, Nse Nile and others. The yet untitled movie tells the story of a young pastor and his wife who battle to save their daughter’s life and their troubled marriage.

Waje who has always professed her love for acting, enters the film after bit parts in stage plays most notably ‘Olorunbi’ in 2010. She is also adding finishing touches to her album which is due out in March. See more...
