Well, gist reaching us is that she has just landed herself another endorsement deal as an ambassador for Ruutos Hair South Africa while in Johannesburg for Soweto Fashion Week.

Bread seller-turned model Olajumoke Orisaguna also became brand ambassador to Stanbic, Payporte and some others organization.

Congratulations dear, keep soaring.

Introducing the World’s First Alcoholic Coca-Cola Drink

Coca-Cola has unveiled an alcoholic drink for the first time in its 125-year history.

The drinks giant launched a fizzy lemon flavoured alcopop in Japan yesterday – aimed at young women. The three drinks range from three per cent to eight per cent alcohol in a bid to cash-in on the growing market of young drinkers.

The three new ‘Lemon-Do’ drinks are available in the southern Kyushu region of Japan. A 350 ml can will set customers back 150 yen, which is around £1.

The recipes are a closely guarded secret but the drinks are modelled on the country’s popular Chu-Hi drinks which are a mix of local spirit and fruit flavors.

Chu-Hi - an abbreviation for shochu highball - has been marketed as an alternative to beer and has proved popular with female drinkers. The most popular flavors are strong citrus ones such as grapefruit or lemon. Japanese brands like Suntory, Asahi and Kirin currently dominate the sector for canned Chu-Hi drinks.

Coca-Cola says there are no plans to bring the new drinks range to markets outside Japan.

Masaki Iida, spokesman for Coca-Cola’s Japanese unit, said: “This is a pilot project in the region which has a sizeable market,’

Alcopops boomed in Europe and the UK in the 1990s with the likes of Smirnoff Ice, Hooper’s Hooch and Two Dogs dominating the market.

However, the drinks proved controversial with critics claiming they encouraged young people to drink alcohol due to their sugary taste.

In the autumn of 1996, the then Chancellor Kenneth Clarke increased the tax on them by 40 per cent.

Photographer of the viral #RoyalWedding photo finally speaks

Everyone had their eyes glued to their television screens and social media platforms last week Saturday just to witness the #RoyalWedding ceremony between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Social media platforms were buzzling with stunning pictures of the newly weds. One picture however, caught the world's attention.

The couple were holding hands and looking out to the crowd there to celebrate their union while Meghan's bouquet was resting on her lap. 

All it took was just one tweet and voila, it came to the world's attention and was liked 82,000 times.

 The Photographer, Mok Yui, a staff photographer for the Press Association saw this tweet and responded by explaining exactly how he took the photo.

Not only did he explain how the shot was taken, he went ahead to give some accolades.

Lagos State government reduces the controversial Land Use Charge

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state has reduced the rates of the land use charge following widespread criticism. 

The government had reviewed the rates upward, charging property solely occupied by the owner for residential purpose at the rate of 0.076 percent per annum; property occupied by the owner and tenant(s) or third parties at 0.256 percent per annum; while investment property fully occupied by tenants or third party(ies) for revenue generation at 0.76 percent per annum.

It also threatened to penalize those who do not make payment after receiving notice. Failure to pay between 45 and 75 days attracted 50 percent increase; after 105 days, a 100 percent increase. The law prescribed that a property shall be liable to enforcement if payment is not made after 135 days of notice.

However, at a press conference in Alausa, Ikeja today, Akinyemi Ashade, commissioner of finance, said commercial property owners would get 50 percent discount. Owner-occupier 25 percent, while there would be waiver for late payment and tax credit for those who are prompt in payment.

Payment in instalment was also introduced in the new arrangement. The government took the action after the pressure from individuals, pressure groups and civil society organisations (CSOs).

The gig, hosted by ROC Nation boss Jay Z was also attended by Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, DJ Mustard, Fabolous Big Sean, Karen Civil and many more.

Woman killed as Bruce Jenner crashes car in US paparazzi chase

Los Angeles (AFP) - Olympic decathlon star and former stepfather to the Kardashian clan Bruce Jenner was involved in a car crash Saturday that killed one and injured several others, though he was unharmed, TMZ reported.

The 65-year-old has Americans' rapt attention amid talk that he is soon to come out as transgender.

Jenner was driving a large SUV and was being trailed by at least five paparazzi when he collided with a white car that then swerved into oncoming traffic, TMZ reported. The driver of the white car died.
