Koko Master D’Banj is set to drop the debut album from his newly established DB Records. With the album art on display, convention hits the mud as it promises to unfold a mind-numbing Uber-compilation of works by his other DB lieutenants, Kay Switch and J.Sol.
The new album titled ‘D kings Men, sure has got our Bad-boy Koko Master revved up as his twitter account keeps rolling out with twitter-torials.
Will this be the start of a DB-Naija romance?

Basket Mouth Hits New High With New Ride

Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth just made the step up with a 2013 Opel Insignia car. Sources say the ride was made ‘bespoke’, which means it was built exclusively to Basketmouth’s taste.

At £42,000, the automobile is the first of its kind ever to be purchased by an African.

15th Annual Kennis Music Easter Festival Cancelled

               
This may not come as a shocker to some fans but the Kennis Music family have announced that there won’t be any Kennis Music Annual Easter Festival for this year.

The announcement came just one day after one of the label’s artist, pop singer, Oluwabimpe Goldie Harvey was buried in Lagos.

The management explained that the decision came as a result of the fact that the label will take some time off to mourn their loss. However a thanksgiving service/tribute concert will be held at a later date in honor of the fallen star.

       Much to the horror of most of the world Rihanna has rekindled her relationship with Chris Brown – and now things are set to get worse with the rumour that Chris is set to propose and that it is only “a matter of time” before Ri accepts!

Ri shocked fans and friends alike when she recently admitted she was back with ex-boyfriend Chris, who violently beat her back in 2009.

The singer has posted a string of pictures online showing the couple enjoying her recent birthday celebrations and they've been snapped looking loved up on a beach this week.

Brown is also rumoured to be ready to take their relationship to the next level – with the news that he has given her a ring as a sign of his renewed commitment.

But Ri’s friends apparently remain unconvinced that he has changed, with Star magazine alleging, “Everyone has told her to wait until she is sure he has changed his ways, otherwise she could be heading for disaster.”

“But she has just ignored them. The only voice she listens to is Chris.”

Rihanna courted attention at the recent Grammy Awards with a huge sparkler on her ring finger, starting rumours she and Chris are engaged. This is giving pals further cause for concern:

Omotola Hits Hollywood, Gets A Role In Bounce Series

 Nigerian screen goddess Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is set to be a guest star in an American TV drama series shot in LA ‘Bounce. The series stars Kimberly Elise, Dean Cain, Bernie Kopell, Eric Stoltz and Akon amongst others. Bounce is a VH1 series created by James LaRosa, which follows Ahsha, (played by Taylor Paige) a girl who joins the professional basketball dance team, the Los Angeles Devil Girls, unaware of the treacherous and tempting world that follows.

Goldie finally laid to rest

 

 

The remains of late Susan 'Goldie' Harvey was laid to rest yesterday at the Vaults & Gardens private burial ground located at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Close, Off Federal Secretariat Road, Ikoyi, Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The burial commenced at 10am yesterday and only close family members and business associates were allowed in as it was strictly by invitation

Goldie was pronounced dead on Valentine's Day, Thursday, February 14, 2013 after she was rushed to Reddington Hospital, V.I, Lagos, hours after she returned from Los Angeles where she attended the Grammys.

An autopsy report released last week confirmed she died of hypertensive heart disease.

Rihanna Floats New Fashion Line, Wows London Fashion Week

Earthy, raunchy, and an overpowering taste of the Rihanna Charm.

These were on display at the colourful London Fashion Week held over the weekend where Rihanna unveiled her fashion collection for the ‘River Island’ clothing label. The suave, adventurous and daring outfits included cropped jersey sweats, yellow shift-dresses,  evening wear-like swim wears, monochrome dresses with slits high up at the thigh, bearing mesh tops, etc. All adorned by slim models as they graced the catwalk .

While counting down to the event, Rihanna had taken to twitter to express her delight about her latest achievement. “My first fashion show!!! My designs will walk the catwalks of London Fashion Week in days!! It’s gonna be MAJAH! #RihannaForRiverIsland.”
