As if it is a festival of marriage for the spinsters in Nollywood, another actress, this time a Yoruba star actress and GLO Ambassador, Funke Akindele has also announced her wedding date, which according to report has been tentatively fixed for May 26, 2012, today.
Funke Akindele, would be second wife as her man is already married with children.
It has however been revealed that the star actress, whom many of her fans refer to as "Jenifa" is set to marry Alhaji Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof. He is a well known politician and businessman within the Oshodi axis of Lagos State.
He contested and lost in his bid for a local government chairmanship seat and house of Representative seat in Oshodi-Isolo 1 constituency in time past. He is also known as Kenny Doo. He contested under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2007
Alhaji Almaroof is a married man who surprisingly stole the heart of Jenifa. He is a staunch Muslim and son of Iyaloja of Oshodi, while Funke's mother is a Pastor at the Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM).Funke is also a member of MFM.
